News & Updates - Data Share Agreement with Washington HCA

Collective Medical Technologies has entered into a data share agreement with the Washington Health Care Authority to make Medicaid claims information available to ED physicians. Starting in October EDIE participants will be able to see additional Medicaid information about patients who regerister at their EDs.

Evergreen Hospital Medical Center, located in Kirkland, Washington will begin using the Emergency Department Information Exchange to facilitate better case managment of high visit rate patients to the ED. With EDIE's advanced charting and analysis platform physicians and case managers will be able to track patient trends individually and groupwise.

News & Updates - CMT Leaverages Mirth for Full HL7 Messaging Support

Collective Medical Technologies has selected Mirth for their HL7 messaging system. Mirth is an open source cross-platform HL7 interface engine that enables bi-directional sending of HL7 messages between systems and applications over multiple transports. By utilizing an enterprise service bus framework and a channel-based architecture, Mirth allows messages to be filtered, transformed, and routed based on user-defined rules. Creating HL7 interfaces for existing systems becomes easy using the web-based interface and channel creation wizard which associates applications with Mirth engine components.

Mirth will enable Collective Medical Technologies to provide flexible and sophisticated HL7 integration with hospitals.
